Reliable Preventative Maintenance

Stop problems with your HVAC equipment before they start. Performing a yearly cleaning on your heating and cooling unit will help it run at peak efficiency all year round. We recommend scheduling your A/C Preventative Maintenance around the end of May beginning of June. We also recommend having your Furnace/Boiler/Heat Pump cleaned around the end of September – December.

SPRING – Air Conditioning
  • Replace Filter (standard 1″ thick)
  • Check compressor amperage
  • Clean indoor coil (if necessary)
  • Check all fan motors
  • Clean/flush condensate drain & trap
  • Inspect/Clean outdoor unit coil
  • Check all electrical components
  • Check refrigerant levels
  • Check Air temperature
  • Check operation of system

FALL – Oil Boiler/Furnace
  • Change Nozzle
  • Replace Filter (standard 1″ thick)
  • Clean smoke pipe
  • Check safety control lock out time
  • Clean or replace pump screen
  • Clean burner & nozzle assembly
  • Clean out combustion chamber and chimney base
  • Clean heat exchanger
  • Oil motors
  • Check circulator
  • Clean/check and adjust electrodes
  • Check ignition transformer
  • Check coil gasket
  • Check and/or drain expansion tank
  • Check relief valve
  • Run Efficiency Test
FALL – Gas Furnace
  • Replace Filter (standard 1″ thick)
  • Check heat exchanger
  • Clean/flush condensate drain & trap
  • Verify flame burning properly
  • Clean and check flame sensor
  • Clean Burner Tubes
  • Visually inspect gas lines
  • Verify intake/exhaust working properly
  • Check internal fan motor
  • Check ignition system
  • Visually inspect and check all safety devices
  • Run System and check operation
  • Check pressure switches
  • Check gas pressures
FALL – Heat Pump
  • Replace Filter (standard 1″ thick)
  • Check compressor amperage
  • Check all fan motors
  • Clean/flush condensate drain & trap
  • Inspect/clean outdoor unit coil (if necessary)
  • Check all electrical components
  • Check air temperature
  • Check defrost cycle
  • Run system in heating cycle

FAQ

What Happens If I Move?

No problem! If you sell your home, you have two options:

  • Transfer the remaining time on your agreement to the new homeowner
  • Or transfer the remaining time and services to your new residence

We make it easy to keep your coverage or pass it along.

Do You Offer Any Discounts?

Yes, we offer a discount on Service Agreements for active duty military, veterans, and seniors (persons 62 or older).

Can You Service All Units?

Yes, we service all makes and models of heating and cooling systems. Our experienced technicians can diagnose and repair nearly any unit.

Note: In rare cases, older or obsolete systems may have limited or unavailable parts, which can make repairs difficult or impossible.
